Figma design for Vintage cars website|Learning UX design with Figma and Wix
3 days ago on 26–01–2022, I created a website based on Vintage Cars Auction to learn website building and development on Wix.com.
Got learned a lot of things about website building and UX designs.
In this process, I came to know 2 more concepts- Wireframing and Prototyping.
With that in mind, I started exploring various tools and landed on using Figma for UX design.
As I am a beginner at using this tool for UX designing, it took me more time than I expected to design just 1 page on Figma.
During this design, I learned
1. Auto layouts in Figma are used to scale shapes, text boxes, and frames
2. Create styles for everything you are using from text, shapes ( circles, rectangle, lines ). Even if you are changing the width of the line, put it in a different style.
3. When designing, always look for contrasting colors. My mistake here was I included sky blue with white without having any darker contrast in the background
4. When in prototyping mode, always use the same type of animation and time to connect different frames.
5. Use only the text, images, icons, illustrations that you can replicate on the website otherwise find the ones you can use.
These were my learning in 2 days of building, prototyping with Figma.
P.S.- I am searching for a full-time UX designer job.
If you happened to know someone who is in need of a UX designer or website builder, kindly share this post with them.

Until then, let's keep building, designing, and helping people.
